KHPS is now a Hillsdale College Curriculum School
HUNTSVILLE, AL (June 2025) – Kingdom Heights Preparatory School is proud to announce its official partnership with Hillsdale College, becoming the first K–12 Curriculum School in North Alabama and one of only three in the state of Alabama to receive this designation.
Through this partnership, Kingdom Heights will implement Hillsdale’s content-rich, classical curriculum—grounded in the liberal arts and sciences and taught through a boldly Christian worldview. Students will engage with the great books of Western civilization, American civics, and moral philosophy, while being formed in wisdom, character, and biblical truth.
We believe that education is not just about preparing students for college or careers - but developing leaders who are spiritually formed in the image of Christ,” said Dr. Rachel Ballard, Head of School at Kingdom Heights Preparatory School. “Partnering with Hillsdale College's K–12 initiative allows us to elevate our curriculum while remaining deeply rooted in our Christian identity.”
As a Hillsdale College Curriculum School, Kingdom Heights will adopt the Hillsdale K–12 Program Guide, which is a comprehensive academic framework developed over decades to restore excellence in American K–12 education. The school will continue its commitment to teacher-led instruction, moral and civic formation, and spiritual discipleship.
This partnership reinforces Kingdom Heights’ vision to provide a high-caliber education that combines classical rigor, Christian formation, and a strong moral foundation. KHPS is preparing the next generation to lead with conviction, clarity, and compassion.
